Meet the Producers Dinner

The night was a true celebration of local flavours at Grain of the Silo. We kicked off the evening with fireside snacks and sparkling wine on our deck, offering stunning views of Kanamaluka/Tamar River. Guests then indulged in a thoughtfully crafted three-course menu, curated by our Food Director Massimo Mele and Executive Chef Thomas Pirker. The menu showcased an array of dishes crafted from ingredients sourced from our esteemed local producers, each perfectly paired with exceptional wines from the Tamar Valley and beyond.

Throughout the evening, renowned food writer and podcaster Dani Valent guided engaging conversations with our producers, revealing the stories and craftsmanship behind the exceptional food of Tasmania.

Now in its fourth year, Meet the Producer reflects our commitment to local producers and promoting sustainable food practices. This event provided a unique opportunity to connect with the artisans behind the dishes, deepening our appreciation for the ethical, sustainable, and delicious products that define our menu. It was a night to remember, celebrating the vibrant community of producers and the remarkable food they create.
